Hope you had a good summer and welcome back to a new semester! An extra warm welcome to you who are a new student and who are now starting your studies in a slightly different situation. We will send newsletters continuously to all students during the autumn as a help in your studies. Remember that the latest information is always available at www.hv.se/en/  Stay informed!

LATEST INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMING SEMESTER 2020

At University West, teaching during the autumn will be conducted in mixed forms, with parts on campus and parts at a distance. Information about your course and how your teaching will take place can be found at the learning platform Canvas. There you can see which lectures will be on Campus in Trollhättan and which will be given digitally- so that you can take part of them from home.

Where in Canvas can I find my schedule?

The schedule can be found in the calendar in the Canvas menu on the left. You can click on the schedule to see details about the lecture or activity. There you can also see where the lecture takes place (or if it takes place via Zoom).

You should be able to feel safe when you are on campus

Our campus is open, but at the same time it is important that we do not become too many at once. We hope and believe that we can all together create good conditions to both be able to study from home, and also be on campus when needed.

To reduce the risk of spreading the infection, the activities need to be adapted in accordance with the expert authorities' recommendations.

From this week, the library is back with its regular opening hours. You will find them here

If you need help in writing in Swedish or English, or if you want to discuss ways of improving your written work, you can get advice from the university's Language Resource Centre.They offer guidance in academic writing to all students at University West, in Swedish and English. You are welcome to bring a text to ask questions about.

MY PAGE HAS BEEN REMOVED

For those of you who have used MyPage before, you will notice that it is no longer available. Instead, all the links to your systems and tools that you need are now available on the Student Portal's home page under the Log in and Toolboxes. There you will also find Office365 with your student email etc.
