Inslussningen Kick-Off
To help you get the best possible start to your studies, we invite you to Inslussningen. A joint kick-off event for all students, organized by University West, the Student Union (SHV), and the City of Trollhättan.
Everyone, both new and returning students, is welcome to participate, regardless of whether you are a Student Union member or not. A valid student ID is required to attend the evening events.

The main aim of the library is to be an information center for students, staff, and the public.

Get extended access to the university
With an activated West card, you gain access to all the university's group rooms and extended access to the library and campus during late evenings. The card also allows you to print and borrow books.
|

|
|
Get additional support with math and writing
The university offers math tutoring every Monday and Friday, as well as individual tutoring in academic writing.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Study with a disability
From January 19–23, you can meet our coordinators at drop-in in the G2 corridor every weekday from 12:00 to 12:30 for more information about the types of support you can receive during your studies.

|
|
The bookstore on campus
Here you can buy new and used books, compendiums, and other course literature. You can also buy office supplies at student prices! Gregart's Student Books is located in Building B, on the 2nd floor, in room B217.

|
|
|
Listen to the book with Legimus
For those with difficulties reading printed text, there is access to a reading service with adapted course literature. Apply through our drop-in every Tuesday from 3:00–4:00 PM in the G2 corridor.

|
Study a semester abroad!
Applications for exchange studies are now open for the academic year 2026/27. Applications close on February 15. Read more and apply.
