You can now book the library’s podcast studio via schema.hv.se. The room has also been moved to the library’s second floor.
Headphones, cables, etc. can be borrowed at the library’s loan desk.

Engineers’ database IEEE is back
Great news! After popular demand, the IEEE database will once again be available throughout 2026, with an early start already now in December.

Campus opening hours
During the Christmas and New Year holidays, campus opening hours will be different. Here you can find holiday opening hours for the Service Center.
Do you need access to campus during the Christmas holidays? Then you might need to activate your West Card, as there will be more locked doors than usual.
To activate your card:
- Hold it in front of a card reader
- Enter your 4-digit PIN code
- Hold the card up again until the green figure lights up
Your card is now activated for 12 hours.

Holiday opening hours at the library
From 22 December, the library will be open on weekdays only, 10:00–14:00 (from 08:00 with Västkort access).
We will be closed on 24–26 December, 31 December, 1 January, and 6 January.
On 7 January, we return to our regular opening hours.

Do I get a holiday break as a university student?
At university in Sweden, you do not get an official holiday break. The autumn term runs from the start of the term until mid-January. However, you usually do not have any lectures or mandatory activities during the holiday season. Many students use this time to prepare for exams in January.

Do you need study support during the holidays?
Several study support services (e.g. Math help center and Language Resource Centre) are closed during the holidays, which means it may take longer to receive responses to bookings and emails.
|
|
|
|

|
