Open call 2024 – Innovations for a sustainable, digitized and automated transport system for people and goods

The aim of the open call is to develop and test new solutions within shared, connected and automated mobility that touch on system barriers or opportunities. What we want to achieve is more efficient, traffic-safe and accessible road transport systems with the help of digital technology. The open call closes on 4 March 2025 at 2PM.

The dependence on cars is significant for those who do not live centrally where public transportation has good coverage. Taking public transit is not an appealing option if departures are very infrequent. If, instead, one could order the next bus to come and travel the shortest possible route to their destination, more people would likely choose to use public transportation.
