HEJ TO ALL STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITY WEST!
The spread of Covid-19 is increasing. On October 29, The Swedish Public Health Agency announced new general guidelines for the region of Västra Götaland, which of course affects us at University West.
The advice is valid until November 19, but may be extended.
We all have a great individual responsibility to show consideration and contribute to reducing the spread of infection. Please, follow the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations!
Our Vice-Chancellor has not made any new decisions regarding teaching and examination for autumn -20 or spring -21. However, we follow the situation closely and of course current recommendations - which may need new measures quickly. It is important to stay informed! |

We understand that this situation creates added stress and anxiety and that you may have questions regarding things like exams on campus. If you belong to a risk group, live with somebody who belongs to a risk group, have cold/flu symptoms or feel strong anxiety about conducting a campus-based exam, we will do everything we can to offer alternative examination. For questions about this, you should first turn to the teacher responsible for your course or programme as soon as possible.
All of us must show consideration and contribute to reducing the spread of infection. It is very important to follow the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations!
We also want you to know that we have taken several steps to create a safe environment for on-campus exams. |

Lectures on campus
If, due to Covid-19, you are not able to participate in the teaching, you should contact your teacher to see what opportunities you have to participate online or take part in teaching material afterwards. All our teachers are well aware of the situation that now prevails and do their best to create as good conditions as possible for all students to complete their education.
